Up to date: Das Santa Cruz Tallboy

After the Heckler, Megatower, Nomad and 5010, the Tallboy has now also been given a makeover: the focus is on a new carbon frame, which can be easily recognized by the new storage compartment on the down tube. The Santa Cruz makers have also worked on the VPP rear triangle, which should ensure even better responsiveness in rough terrain. As it should be today, the Tallboy is of course a tick longer and the steering angle of 65.5 degrees is more appropriate for the downcountry genre with 120/130 millimetre travel.

The 29er Fully is characterized by Max Schumann from Santa Cruz as follows: "Like the 5010, the Tallboy is a great bike for fast riding on familiar trails, but a little more efficient and a little more dynamic, with more urge for speed. Compared to the Hightower, it is more agile and slightly less forgiving. The Tallboy is less of an all-mountain all-rounder than a sporty companion for particularly fast or long trail tours."
