A group of seven people were on a mountain bike tour from "Les Ruinettes" in the direction of "Lourtier" on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at around 3 pm. For reasons that are currently unclear, one of them left the path at a place called "La Combe" and crashed into a rock face. As a result, the man fell several meters down a steep slope. The rescue workers who were called out were only able to determine that the man had died. The victim was a 31-year-old French national. The public prosecutor's office has opened an investigation.
