Swiss television addressed the trend of e-mountain biking in the business program "Eco". The result is a worthwhile report that uses familiar clichés when it comes to tourism issues, but also provides interesting insights into production and tourism strategy.

After the carbon version of the Gambler, Scott's next trick follows: the aluminum version of the Gambler is cheaper, but no less stylish in the park. The raw version in particular makes quite a visual impact.

Suspension, tire pressure, cockpit design - the chosen bike settings are crucial for the performance of a cross-country athlete. For world champion Kate Courtney, this means that she leaves nothing to chance when it comes to having her bike one hundred percent ready for the race. Find out exactly what that means in the third episode of Rising.

A Gambler is a player, a gambler: this will remain the case with the new Gambler gravity bike from Scott. However, after some adventurous rear suspension changes, the engineers have gone back to the tried and tested and given the new Gambler an elegant and cool look.

The message is clear: Nino Schurter wants to finish on top of the podium in Andorra and win his 31st World Cup race. To make this happen, Schurter has not only been training at altitude, but is also rolling up to the start with a brand new car.

What does it take to become a world champion? In episode 2 of Rising, we follow Kate Courtney off the track to find out what it takes to be the fastest female mountain biker in the world.

If you want good employees, as an employer you can sometimes control this by offering an attractive workplace. Many factors play a role here, not least the architecture. For example, Basler Pharma hires world-renowned architects to create the best workplaces. Scott has also internalized this credo - and has moved into a very impressive new building.

Founded in 1958, multisport brand Scott Sports today announces a strategic collaboration with Bold Cycles. The Swiss-based company was founded in 2015 by Vincenz Droux in Biel, close to Scott's headquarters. Bold Cycles has quickly gained a reputation as a radical innovator in the cycling industry.

After "The Hunt for Glory" with Nino Schurter comes "Rising". The new webisode from Scott shows Kate Courtney's journey from her beginnings to the elite world championship title she won as the youngest female rider, all the way to the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. But one thing at a time: Chapter 1 "Roots" takes us back to Courney's roots.

Scott's e-mountainbike portfolio is already impressive - and now there's more to come: The new Strike e-Ride features 140 suspension travel, and the Bolide is designed to be easy to ride while still handling difficult terrain well. Special attention was paid to system integration, the riding position and the rider's contact points with the bike.

The bike may have cost thousands of francs. But if the suspension is not set up correctly, it will still ride more poorly than good. Yannik-the-Mechanic, Nino Schurter's expert mechanic, naturally knows the secrets of air pressure, rebound and compression damping and much more.

Many experiences in the mountains - be it ski tours, snow kiting trips or climbing routes, for example - only begin after a journey with numerous meters of altitude. At Scott, active as a bike and winter sports specialist, the e-mountain bike is the ideal packhorse for tackling new challenges in the mountains. With the "SK-eRIDE", the adventure starts right on your doorstep.

In 2017, Nino Schurter and Matthias Stirnemann won the Cape Epic. However, they failed to defend their title. Following the reorganization of the "Scott Sram MTB Racing Team", Schurter and Andri Frischknecht want to reclaim the title in the most important mountain bike stage race. As a backup team, the two have Lars Forster at their disposal, who rides with South African marathon champion Gert Heyns.

The Scott Velosolutions Downhill Team may have come to an end at the end of the 2018 season - but not for the bike brand from Givisiez. Scott presents its new downhill squad with Brendan Fairclough, who is almost part of the Scott inventory, Dean Lucas (AUS), Florent Payet and Marine Cabirou (both FRA). Also new is the stylish carbon bike that can already be seen in action in the team video.

After Kate Courtney's departure from Specialized, what many had suspected has now been confirmed: The world champion has signed with the Scott Sram MTB Racing Team until and including the 2020 Olympic year. But that's not all, as European champion Lars Forster will also be joining Olympic and world champion Nino Schurter for the next two seasons.

Scott is not only expanding its mountain bikes for world champions, but is also currently massively expanding its range for children. The flagship is a replica of Nino's race bike in 26 inches. An e-mountain bike for children has also been added to Scott's portfolio. An e-bike like this is well-suited to raising tempers - which is why Jochen Haar from Scott explains the idea behind it.

Scott really puts the pedal to the metal for the next generation. Nino Schurter is a role model in two ways: with his exceptional sporting achievements and with his material, of course. Because Scott is now launching children's and youth bikes that are based on a variety of features from the adult line. There is even a youth gravel bike.

From Scott11 to Scott-Velosolutions - Claudio Caluori's downhill team has been an integral part of the Mountain Bike World Cup over the past ten years. The team celebrated numerous World Cup podiums and victories, as well as crazy parties after the races. This great adventure has now come to an end. With a video review, the team says thank you to all sponsors, media and, above all, the fans.

The big cross-country race at the World Championships in Lenzerheide is not yet over, but Nino Schurter is already making a good impression - thanks to his bike, which has been specially built for the event. Scott has painted his Spark in the Swiss colors red and white. He is then responsible for the gold color.

When Scott presented the Ransom in 2006, the carbon look and potent suspension caused a sensation. Almost 13 years later, Scott is once again sending a Ransom onto the trails, which, thanks to its long travel, clever shock and wheel options, should be able to handle the toughest terrain and be ready for enduro competitions and big mountain expeditions.

It's an old but still true cycling wisdom: first comes the frame, then the wheels when it comes to riding fun and performance. When it comes to wheels, Scott's component brand Syncros has now come up with a pioneering concept: a system wheel that is dominated by carbon, stiffness and light weight.

A Scott bike with an insane discount of over 80 percent? Such offers are increasingly appearing on social media sites such as Facebook. However, if you want to strike such offers and get the ultimate bargain, you will never get the coveted bike. Scott is taking action against these scammers and explains how you can protect yourself from this scam.

At his World Cup debut in Stellenbosch, serial winner Schurter had to settle for 2nd place for once. But his bike is undoubtedly made for the top step of the podium. Because it is one of the lightest, stiffest and fastest bikes on the racing circuit, the Scott Spark RC 900 World Cup.

This is not how Jenny Rissveds imagined the time after her Olympic victory. Many circumstances led to an enormous amount of psychological pressure, which she was unable to cope with and had to largely forgo the entire 2017 season. In order to make a full recovery, the young Swede is now leaving Team Scott-Sram and wants to concentrate fully on her recovery - and then hopefully return to racing.

With the "MTB RC Ultimate" and the "MTB RC SL", Scott is launching two mountain bike shoes that couldn't be sportier. The collaboration with Carbitex has resulted in two shoe models that are not only very light, but also set new standards in terms of power transmission. They also look fast and have already proven themselves several times on Nino Schurter's feet.

In 2016, Scott presented the Centric Plus, a helmet for mountain bikers and road cyclists that is supposed to set new standards in terms of aerodynamics and ventilation. While the former is of little interest to us off-road, ventilation and other features were the main focus of the test.

Nino Schurter is a legend, and so is his mechanic: Yanick "the Mechanic" Gyger is one of the most dazzling figures in the tech zones - and when it comes to turning the wrench with know-how and passion. Scott is now dedicating a web series to the mechanic behind the success of Schurter, Rissveds and Stirnemann. Here is the prelude.

With the free choice of wheels on the same bike, Scott is introducing an interesting technology with the new 2018 Genius - and is now also adapting it for the new E-Genius. This makes it one of the first e-mountainbikes to roll with 29-inch wheels.

New suspension kinematics, free choice of wheel size and significant weight reduction: Scott is reinventing its Genius models for the 2018 model year. The positioning as a 150-millimetre all-mountain series with the widest possible range of use remains unchanged.

The new Spark platform no longer has to prove itself. The driving reports and race results speak for themselves. But what about Scott's latest addition, the E-Spark? This is based on the same platform, only it is around ten kilograms heavier than the Spark Plus and is powered by electricity from a Shimano Steps motor. We had the pleasure of testing the E-Spark 710.

At Eurobike 2016, Scott gave the public a glimpse of their latest power horse, albeit with a 3D-printed frame. Now the E-Spark Plus is a reality. It comes with 120 and 130 millimetres of suspension travel, an integrated Shimano Steps motor and drive and is Scott's sportiest e-mountainbike. It comes in four variants including a Contessa model.

The Cape Epic is no walk in the park. This is shown by pictures from behind the scenes of the victorious Scott-Sram team with Nino Schurter and Matthias Stirnemann. Ride shows the most impressive pictures away from the race track.

To dominate the world's top riders, you need good legs, a clever mind and, above all, a fast bike. Nobody knows this better than Nino Schurter. With the launch of the racing season, the racing equipment has now also been built. Ride has taken a closer look at it.

From Sunday it gets serious! The start of the Cape Epic marks the start of the racing season for many top athletes. But for many of them, South Africa is much more than just a summery season opener. For Nino Schurter, for example. Ride visited him in his second home country and elicited insider tips from him.

We suspected it: Velosolutions has already supported the "Gstaad-Scott Team" in recent years and is now increasing its commitment and taking the place of the tourist destination. Together with Scott-Sports, Claudio Caluori's Pumptrack FIrma "Velosolutions" is team sponsor of the new, old team. A new, promising team rider has also joined the team.

Now it's official and our suspicions are confirmed: The "Scott Sram MTB Racing Team" will ride on suspension forks and shocks from Rock Shox in 2017. Sram, who have been involved since the team was founded, are expanding their commitment and pursuing the goal of "Tokyo 2020" together with the team. In addition to other news, the team also presents two new employees.
