With the Explore Boost, children's bike leader Woom is introducing an e-bike for kids ages six and up. A small battery, simple controls, and a parent app are designed to help kids tackle longer distances and steep hills—without making the bike unnecessarily heavy.

Woom continues its kindergarten initiative: Following visits to the kindergarten at Tegernsee and in Klosterneuburg, the Woom team recently visited the Vienna Kinderfreunde at the Schartlgasse kindergarten in Vienna's 23rd district. In their luggage: lots of riding fun with the brand new Woom Wow, the first balance bike for babies under 1 year old.

The Woom success story is unique and impressive: within 10 years, Marcus Ihlenfeld and Christian Bezdeka have rolled the children's bike brand towards market leadership. But that is not the end of the story: In the next step, the two entrepreneurs are tackling a new sector - and once again, the focus is on kids.

Woom is recalling children's bikes from the OFF 5, OFF 6 model series from model years 2019 and 2020 and ORIGINAL from 2016 to 2020. There is a risk that one of the cranks could break. As not all bikes are equipped with the unsafe cranks, Woom is offering an online crank check.

Woom presents its brand new all-round bike specially designed for children aged 6 to 14, the Woom Explore. With high-quality components and a striking frame design, the Explore is aimed at older children who want to discover the world independently on two wheels. The lightweight all-terrain bike offers kids comfortable, intuitive cycling, both in the city and in nature. With a clear focus on comfort, safety and style, the new bike in four strong colors clearly stands out from Woom's previous all-round models.

The children's bike specialist Woom is hiding bikes in playgrounds in Bern and Zurich. The aim is to find them and, with a bit of luck, win one of 22 Woom bikes.

The second generation of the super-light and child-friendly woom OFF and woom OFF AIR mountain bikes is being relaunched with optimized components and the spectacular "terra coppa" colour variant - a matt copper shade.

For the urban lifestyle: with revolutionary geometry, exceptional features and complete equipment suitable for road use, the brand new Woom NOW is aimed at everyday cyclists aged 6 to 14.

The pandemic and the associated stress on suppliers and supply chains are ruthlessly exposing a bicycle manufacturer's shortcomings. Those who are poorly positioned here - i.e. not very digital - are struggling and can sell fewer bikes. Children's bike expert Woom is now driving digitalization within the supply chain.

Woom Bikes has taken the children's bike market by storm. The manufacturer is present in 50 countries and increased sales by 63% in 2020 compared to the previous year to around 200'000 children's bikes. Woom is now bringing the production of bikes for Europe closer to the sales market: a production line has started operations in Swiebodzin, Poland. Children's mountain bikes are also soon to be produced in Poland.

There's almost nothing better than enjoying your favorite hobby with friends and family. Anyone who wants to rock the trails with children in line with this motto will now find what they are looking for at Austrian children's bike specialist Woom. With the Off series, off-road capability and low weight are on the agenda. An e-mountain bike for kids is also in the starting blocks.
