Canyon is aware that with a small number of batteries the casing can be damaged, which manifests itself in the form of small cracks, fissures or similar. The problem with the cracked casing only affects the battery supplied with the Spectral:ON CF / CFR and Torque:ON CF with the following model numbers: BT0001, BT0002, BT0003 and BT0004. 

Canyon urges customers with such e-mountain bikes to check the batteries, which must first be removed from the down tube. If cracks can be detected, the bike may no longer be used according to Canyon. The retailer provides detailed information on the procedure here.
