Wrenchers must now pay close attention: Chris King introduces Gold Grease, a new bearing grease that should give his own Silver Grease a run for its money. The result? Immediately after application, around 25 to 30 percent less friction compared to its predecessor - and, according to Chris King, still measurably more efficient even after around 1,600 km of mileage. 

The highlight according to King: Gold Grease is not a mere renaming, but a freshly developed mixture that should not only roll faster, but also remain stable for longer. In tests, it remained more stable before giving way under load - and that means less frequent servicing, more time on the trail. 

The new grease fits into standard King hubs and bottom brackets and is designed to make bearings run even smoother over time - an effect that King itself has observed with previous products, they supposedly get better the more miles on them. Gold Grease is now available in two sizes: 25 grams and 100 grams.
