Around 80 mountain bikers interested in technique and training gathered at Bike Windlin in Sarnen on February 22. They listened intently to speakers such as Vinzenz Winterberg from Mavic, sports scientist Fabian Neunstöckli, Dani Dätwyler from Fuchs Moves on "bike fitting" and Reto Bieri from Winforce on the latest sports science findings and products.

Many a guest will experience an aha moment during the subsequent panel discussion on the "right" wheel size. Yanick Giger - mechanic for the Scott Odlo MTB Racing Team - paid a brief visit to the summit meeting to add the perspective of a top athlete to the interesting discussion. "Thanks to this panel discussion, many visitors were able to put aside their uncertainties about the different wheel sizes," says Leo Windlin, owner of Bike Windlin.

Windlin even organizes a small expo on his premises. There, guests can find out for themselves about the latest products from Sram, Cannondale Synapse racing bikes or e-mountain bikes from Moustache. As the icing on the cake, the weather is also at its best. "After this successful first edition, the Gipfelstürmertreffen will certainly be continued next year.
