Pinarello: Back on fast studded tires

Tom Pidcock has already shown who is the fastest in the field and then in the final sprint at the ÖKK Bike Revolution in Chur. His new bike also looks pretty fast: The Pinarello Dogma XC. The carbon bike offers around 100 millimetres of suspension travel with a single pivot rear triangle with flexing struts, which should also help Pauline Ferrand-Prévot achieve fast lap times.

Until now, Tom Pidock has been racing on camouflaged Erlkönig bikes, but now that Pauline Ferrand-Prévot is also competing in the same Ineos Grenadiers team, it's time to show the flag. The two versatile cycling stars will be racing on the brand new Pinarello Dogma XC. The carbon frame offers a single pivot frame with flexing stays with 90 or 100 millimeters of travel, depending on the shock length. The front is designed for forks with 100 or 120 millimeters of travel. A bridge above the bottom bracket area is intended to provide additional stiffness and power transmission.

The new bike is initially reserved for the Ineos Grenadiers team; the market launch of the Dogma XC is not planned until 2024. There is also a hardtail in the pipeline that is to be optimized for World Cup routes.
