On Saturday, those responsible for the Torrent lifts were able to celebrate the opening of the new Flowtrail, which was completed after a construction period of just four weeks. Pastor Müller blessed the people on and around the Flowtrail at the opening and prayed for accident-free operation. The opening was celebrated with an event. Around 500 people were registered for the event. In addition to a large number of guests, there were bikers from all over Switzerland and Germany. After the blessing, the bikers were allowed to ride the Flowtrail Leukerbad themselves. Young and old alike could be found on the flow trail, and many were amazed by the five-year-old who mastered the flow trail on a children's bike and by the senior citizens who mastered the course. It is important to the builders of the flow trail that it really can be ridden by every biker. This wish was a constant companion during the construction phase and the trail was built accordingly. The flow trail will remain open daily until October 18, 2015.
