Sport at the weekend: Arvigrat and Brienzer Rothorn

The ride camp in Central Switzerland is coming up this weekend. On the agenda are the spectacular Arvigrat and the legendary Brienzer Rothorn. There are still two places available.

Many locals prefer to keep what Central Switzerland has to offer in terms of trails to themselves. But there is no reason for false modesty. The repertoire of trails in Central Switzerland ranges from alpine to rooty and steep to panoramic high-altitude trails. Although the mountain railroads with bike transport are not very numerous and less well-known than elsewhere, you are often alone on the first-class single trails. Added to this is the excellent accessibility by rail, which is used as a feeder. The base of the camp is the Hotel Krone in the village center of Sarnen, the capital of the canton of Obwalden. Here you can expect not only top-class cuisine, but also the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local cultural life.
