Unlimited fun, a team adventure and great camaraderie as well as the best trails with an impressive mountain panorama around the Grisons destination of Davos Klosters - that's what "Mondraker Enduro Team" stands for. It is one of the few enduro races for teams in Europe and is correspondingly popular in the international mountain bike scene. Previous events have always sold out quickly, for teams of two but especially for the unique Fun Team category of three to six people.

In addition to the extremely popular Fun Team category, again including e-bikes, you can of course also start again in the tried-and-tested categories for teams of two: Men, Women, Mixed and 77+. Starting places at the event are limited, particularly due to the limited capacity of the Davos Klosters mountain railroads. The race is open to a total of around 450 participants, the exact number of teams depends on the size of the fun teams. In the spirit of early Christmas, the registration platform for the Mondraker Enduro Team 2025 will open on December 20, 2024, at 12 noon. If you want to take part, register as soon as possible on the event website. Last time, several categories sold out in less than 30 minutes. "We are expecting a great deal of interest again for the race in 2025," says organizer Britta Wild from the Bike Academy Davos. "We have an extremely loyal field of participants, with more and more returning riders at every event. That's why we're giving them a few hours' head start on registration again this time."

E-bikes remain integrated into Fun Teams

E-bikes have been integrated into the Fun Teams category since 2023. This variant has proven itself in practice and will therefore remain in place. Once again, you can start with an e-bike in the Fun Team - at least one team member must ride a conventional bike without a motor. "Weaker bikers in terms of fitness benefit from the motor, especially in the transfers - but the teams hardly have an advantage in the measured stages. The focus should be on having fun - that's where we stay true to our line," explains race director Michi Wild.

New routes for repeat offenders

Returnees are also likely to get to know new trails and combinations in the Davos Klosters region at the ninth edition. Because the "Mondraker Enduro Team" routes are not simply fixed: "We change a considerable part of the race route every year so that our numerous repeat offenders also get their money's worth in terms of trail fun," says race director Michi Wild, explaining his credo. "Our region offers an incredible wealth of attractive mountain bike trails. So we are far from running out of ideas and compositions," he promises.

The most attractive trails in the best company

In three days, the Mondraker Enduro Team teams cover a total of 120 kilometers, ride around 1500 meters uphill and a good 10,000 meters downhill. As in a classic enduro race, the Mondraker Enduro Team also involves riding several "stages", or measured sections, each day. These mainly ride downhill and last a few minutes each. In between, the participants complete various transfers without timekeeping, often supported by mountain railroads. This leaves time to enjoy the impressive alpine scenery or to chat with other race participants and cultivate the international bike community. "Our aim is to show experienced mountain bikers from all over the world the most beautiful trails in the Davos Klosters destination in the best of company," summarizes Britta Wild. The trails are varied and attractive - but sometimes also technically demanding, as they are almost exclusively natural routes. A certain riding level on a mountain bike is therefore a prerequisite for a lot of fun with Mondraker Enduro Team.
