599 euros for a wheel is a hefty sum. But Giant has put a lot of know-how into the Pre rCarbon Push Bike, so almost all components are made from recycled carbon fibers. In addition to its eye-catching appearance, the total weight of the 2.5 kilogram running bike is also impressive. 

To ensure that the young speedsters make good progress, not only the material is optimized, but also the geometry: the seating position is tilted slightly forward. To ensure stability when riding, the rider's center of gravity is positioned as low as possible. The carbon chassis is equipped with 12-inch carbon wheels with a 3-spoke design and low-resistance hubs as well as 1.75-inch tires, which should enable smooth rolling on different surfaces.

Wheels made of carbon fibre are nothing new, by the way. In 2020, Specialized presented a carbon push bike that changed hands for just €1,000.
