Trail tip for the weekend: Alps Epic Trail Davos

Fancy something epic? The weather is currently experiencing constant ups and downs, but promises to be stable and sunny on Saturday. Perfect for taking the Alps Epic Trail under your wheels.

There is one last patch of snow on the first descent of the route, from the Jakobshorn into the Sertig Valley. If you're not afraid of this, we recommend the route via the Alps Epic Trail from Davos to Filisur. The tour offers everything from flowing to technical sections on alpine trails, and the scenery is also a treat for the eyes. Even if you have already mastered the route more than once, it is always a highlight, not least because of the delicious ice cream at Filisur station.

Tip: On a changeable Sunday, shorter tours around Davos or in the Albula Valley are tempting in the morning.

The weather for Davos at the weekend

On Saturday, the sun will shine in the Davos region in the morning with light clouds and a maximum of 20 degrees, 25 degrees in the valley. The clouds will only thicken in the afternoon, but rain is not forecast until the evening. On Sunday, it will be variably cloudy with sunny spells. A few showers and thunderstorms are possible, especially in the second half of the day, with a maximum of 16 degrees in Davos and 24 degrees in the valley.
