Trailfox

trailfox

The 29-inch enduro bike with 150 millimeters of rear travel gets a general overhaul of its suspension with the Rock Shox Pike (160 mm) at the front and the Cane Creek DB inline shocks on all models. The Trailfox family is equipped throughout with Shimano brakes, wheels suitable for tubeless tires and dropper posts. The Trailfox models are also available with new paint finishes. In 2016, the Trailfox family with its three sizes (S, M, L) consists of the Trailfox 01 XX1, the Trailfox 02 X01 and the Trailfox 03 X1.

Speedfox

The first 650b bikes from BMC are available in two different models, the 02 and the 03, and in 5 sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL) with wider handlebars of 750 mm and slightly wider rims and tire dimensions than the 29ers. The ASP suspension of the Trailcrew bike ensures a more comfortable and lighter ride. The entire geometry with the shortest chainstays in the MTB range, the head tube with an angle of 66.5 degrees and a nice, long front center ratio are a perfect match. Naturally, the bikes are equipped with neat cable management, dropper posts, 142 thru-axles and removable ISCG mounts, providing everything trail crew riders could wish for.The Speedfox 29 family continues to consist of the full carbon model 01, the 02 with carbon front triangle and alloy rear triangle, and the pure aluminum model 03. As with all MTBs this year, the Speedfox 29 is always fully equipped with Shimano disc brakes, regardless of the drive components.

BMC Cross-Country: the other Teamelite bikes and the world champion Fourstroke

Micro Travel Technology is the very first suspension system that works in both standing and seated riding without sacrificing rear triangle stiffness, torsional stiffness and pedal stiffness. The performance of the BMC Mountain Bike Racing Team and Julien Absalon's victory at the 30th World Championships are proof of this. The new frame is available in 5 sizes (XS to XL); the smallest size XS has 8 mm more standover clearance than last year's model. Cross-country fans are offered a frameset and 3 equipment options (XTR Di2, XX1 and the new XT). The Teamelite 02 is also new for 2016. It is externally identical to the 01, but has no MTT. It is available in 4 versions: as X01, as the new XT, as X1 or a good mix of SLX and XT. The Teamelite 01 and 02 bikes feature an internal cable organization system for mechanical or electronic shifting DTi groupsets, Shimano complete brakes, 142 thru-axles and integrated chain catchers for single-ring riders. Both new Teamelite models have 29-inch wheels on all frame sizes.

Fourstroke

Fourstroke

The Fourstroke 01 is the only fully in the world that has ever won the UCI XCO World Championship - in 2014 under Julien Absalon. Like all full-suspension bikes from BMC, the Fourstroke with its 100 mm travel also has the Advanced Pivot System (APS) with a clear focus on pedal power. The Big Wheel Concept (BWC) is BMC's special 29er geometry. It makes the Fourstroke a little longer at the top tube compared to conventional XC geometry and gives it a more relaxed head tube and an elongated front center. The combination of all this is perfect for agile climbers and confident fast climbers. The full carbon model 01 is available in XTR Di2, XX1 and as a frameset. The 02 with carbon front triangle and alloy rear triangle is available as XT and SLX/XT. All Fourstroke models have 142 thru-axles and remote lockouts front and rear. They are suitable for drives with one or two chainrings with integrated chain catchers for single-ring use and, of course, Shimano brakes, regardless of the drive system.

Sportelite

sportelite

For newcomers to mountain biking, BMC's range of entry-level bikes has grown. Three hardtails and a full-suspension bike make up the well-rounded Sportelite range. Both newcomers and children as well as dealers will find the bike that suits their needs. Among the Sportelite hardtails, there has been a shift from 26 inch to 650b wheel sizes. There is also a 5th wheel size and several new equipment options to round off the range. The Sportelite APS is a 650b bike offered in 4 sizes and uses the same suspension design as all of BMC's full-suspension bikes.
