Letzte Vorbereitungen für Alex Fiva und Nevin Galmarini auf das Swiss Epic – Rene Wildhaber gibt die letzten Tipps.
This is where sporting expertise meets: 10 World Cup victories, an overall World Cup win and an Olympic silver medal. This is the summarized palmarés of Nevin Galmarini and Alex Fiva. The two winter athletes will be competing together in the "Swiss Epic Flow" next week. If you follow their Facebook accounts, you quickly realize that they are not competing for fun. They take their bike training seriously. They have enlisted the help of a special rider for the finishing touches. Fiva's training partner in the Rotor team, Renè Wildhaber. The top enduro rider and former participant in the mixed flow category at the "Swiss Epic" can certainly give the two riders a tip or two.
René Wildhaber as tour guide and technique coach
Wildhaber has come up with a special tour for the two of them: the Chimmispitz above Bad Ragaz. The first ascent is a good 1400 meters in altitude. This is followed by a descent from 1782 meters above sea level down to Mastrils. A stage that roughly corresponds to a stage of the "Swiss Epic Flow" - but without any aids on the ascent. Information about the tour can be found on the Ride Tour Database.
Regular reporting on www.ride.ch
We will be reporting regularly on www.ride.ch and the Ride Facebook account next week about their adventure, introducing the riders in more detail and, of course, taking a closer look at the bikes that the "Ride Flow Team" will be riding.
