Transalpes bringt des C2's leichtfüssigen Bruder
The C2 from Zwillikon-based bike manufacturer Transalpes is the bike for everything, from an after-work ride to a trip to the bike park. However, the call for more agility and lightness is unmistakable in the trend towards short-stroke trail bikes and reason enough to provide the answer with the C2X.
With 140 millimetres of suspension travel, the new model offers slightly more reserves than most trail bikes with 120 to 130 millimetres of travel. In terms of lightness, it is in the lower range with its twelve kilograms - ideal for long tours with a lot of elevation gain. And Transalpes has given the C2X a steep seat angle of 77 degrees precisely for those mountain bikers who also want good riding characteristics uphill. But it should also impress downhill, especially with a portion of easily controllable agility. The chainstays have shrunk to 435 millimetres compared to the C2, while the steering angle has increased to 66.5 degrees. Thanks to the longer reach, the rider sits more centrally on the bike. Together with the shorter fork tube, this results in more pressure on the front wheel and better control of the bike.
For all disciplines that make up mountain biking, the Transalpes makers have also revised the rear suspension kinematics. Whether pedaling or braking, the rear triangle should behave almost neutrally. The tried-and-tested flip bridge has also been slightly optimized for the C2X.The new model is available in frame sizes S to L and in four colors. For an additional charge, Transalpes can also have the C2X painted in the color of your choice. There are also almost no wishes in terms of equipment: The bike can be put together according to your own requirements in the online configurator.transalpes.com/transalpes-c2x
