The DBX 6.0 Carbon and 5.0 Composite helmets feature a new 360° Turbine technology developed by Leatt to improve protection against concussions and rotational forces.

A total of eleven of these 360° turbines are strategically positioned between the head and shell of the helmet.

These types of shock absorbers are made from soft Armourgel material, which hardens when subjected to force. According to the manufacturer, they not only absorb consecutive impacts, but also reduce the probability of concussion by up to 30 percent and the harmful rotational moments on the head and brain by up to 40 percent.

There are a total of six helmet models, each in six different sizes, from XS to XXL, from 53cm to 64cm head circumference. The weights vary depending on the size, starting at 950g (DBX 6.0 Carbon) or 990g (DBX 5.0 Composite). It goes without saying that the manufacturer has adapted and optimized the new helmets to its own neck brace.
