Magic Downhill fährt auf Transition Bikes
"We build what we want to ride ourselves" is the motto of Transition Bikes, and the company from Ferndale/Washington consistently follows this principle. Instead of relying on slick marketing slogans and agency designs that appeal to the majority, Kevin Menard, Kyle Young and their team prefer to focus on home-made developments and their own riding experience. In return, they accept that they will never become a big company in the bike business. They are satisfied with the good feeling that they can stand by every bike they sell. Every model in the Transition Bikes range has first been extensively tested by the team in practice before being offered to customers. They can therefore be confident that they are buying a well-engineered bike and can concentrate fully on the fun of riding it.
The Transition line includes fullies for all purposes where more than 140 millimeters of suspension travel is required. Only the "Double" fourcross fully with its 90 millimeters dances out of this range, but its intended use fits in well with the rest of Transition's philosophy. Two rigid park bike frames round off the American range. In addition to Transition, Magic Downhill also brings the freeride-compatible components from Funn to Switzerland. It also represents brands including Iron Horse, THE and Smith Optics in French-speaking Switzerland.
