Rückruf bei BMC: vier Lifestyle-Modelle von 2012 und 2013 betroffen
Due to quality fluctuations in production at the Taiwanese manufacturer, the carbon fork has occasionally broken - this affects the EVO Aprebic ACC-A704DN50B fork from the Taiwanese carbon specialist Aprebic Industry Co. Ltd, which is fitted to the following bikes:
Alpenchallenge AC01 105/Tiagra (model year 2012 and 2013)
Alpenchallenge AC01 Rival (model year 2012 and 2013)
Urbanchallenge UC01 Alfine 11 (model year 2012 and 2013)
Masschallenge MCO1 Team (model year 2012)
In a letter to dealers, the manufacturer advises that the bikes should not be used under any circumstances and announces that the forks will be replaced. The number of defective forks is very small, but due to the duty of care and the manufacturer's own quality standards, an exchange is unavoidable. The recall is announced in a letter to the buyers of this bike and a sales stop is imposed on the bikes that are currently still in stock at specialist dealers with the faulty fork.
