Trail-Tipp fürs Wochenende: Monte Arbostora in Lugano

Das Wochenende ist in Sichtweite! Höchste Zeit, für die Tourenplanung. Und der Wetterbericht macht dabei eine klare Ansage: ab in den Süden. Im Tessin gibts viel Sonne und die Trails sind in erstklassigem Zustand. Der Tipp von Ride: die Monte-Arbostora-Tour in der Extended-Version. Aber auch die Trails am Monte Bar sind schon gut fahrbar.

The trails in Ticino are currently in first-class and, above all, dust-dry condition. But beware, Ticino has also received a lot of snow this winter. That's why mountain bikers are currently concentrating on the lower-lying routes, and the Lugano region in particular has a lot to offer. For example, the great winter classic around the Monte Arbostora. The route is currently in top condition and completely snow-free. Ride has also recently created an extended version of the tour for those who want to give themselves a full trail load right at the start of the season. The extended route combines the best single trails south of the center of Lugano.

The southern slopes of Monte Bar are currently also very rideable. If you climb up on the road from Tesserete, you can do so as far as the famous viewpoint at Motto della Croce. You only have to pass a few snowfields on the last few meters. But this is no problem. The south-facing trails below 1400 meters above sea level are completely free of snow and in good condition.
