With the new Ripley SL, Ibis presents a trail bike with a frame weight of just under 2.3 kilograms. The carbon frame is manufactured in a 100 percent solar-powered factory in California. It features integrated storage solutions and precisely tuned suspension, combining 117 millimeters of travel with modern geometry. The Ripley SL is designed for both efficiency and riding enjoyment on demanding trails.

Alu makes it possible: The Ibis Cycles Ripmo AF and Ripley AF bring the price down, but there is no need to cut back on potential. And if you fancy a fresh bike with a fresh XTR or XT Di2 groupset, you've come to the right place.

On June 28 and 29, the Bellwald Bike Park and Rodeo Bike will be hosting the legendary Riding High Festival. The bike park will be fully open, the hottest brands will be bringing their test bikes and raclette, barbecue, cold beer and a party will be provided.

Ibis has given the Ripmo a makeover, no easy task for a bike that has won many test victories. The bar is set high. The new all-mountain bike is already inspiring after the first few turns and might just win another medal or two.

An era is coming to an end: the previous Swiss Santa Cruz distributor Trailworks has terminated the distribution contract at the end of 2024. From January 1, 2025, Pon Bike, the owner of Santa Cruz Bicycles since 2015, will take over the distribution of these bikes in Switzerland.

The Ripley is one of the biggest classics in the Ibis portfolio. The twentyniner now has more suspension travel, improved geometry and storage space in the frame. The trail bike also has a new look, very similar to its big brothers HD6 and Ripmo. The latter is also new in the same respects, but has 150 millimetres of travel at the rear and comes as a twentyniner or with an MX setup, depending on the size.

Nowadays, one e-bike is like another. Not so the Oso, the first e-MTB from Ibis Cycles. It comes in a very unique design and its riding characteristics are anything but ordinary. Finally, another bike that stands out from the crowd.

With the HD6, Ibis presents the further development of what is probably its most successful enduro bike in history. Following valuable input from the in-house World Cup team, the HD6 comes with a redesigned rear triangle, 165 and 180 millimetres of travel, mixed wheel sizes and "only" 14.5 kilograms.

Wide handlebars provide control, stability and safety when cornering. But what handlebar width is actually right? It is precisely this measurement that is often overlooked while specialists discuss reach or stack. Many mountain bikers simply ride with the handlebars that are on the bike. But here, too, the rule applies: the proof of the pudding is in the eating. And there is a clever handlebar for this.

Vero Sandler is a freerider with shovel in hand, shaping her own trails and creating her own paths. She grew up in New Zealand and spent a few years in the Downhill World Cup chasing podiums before focusing her energy on the pure fun of biking, new tricks and developing trails to her own specifications. Sandler is going all out again at the end of the year, showing off her world-class skills at Revolution Bike Park, Wales and Royal Hills, France.

Ibis really lets it rip: With the "Oso", an e-mountainbike has rolled into the portfolio that was previously untouched by auxiliary motors. This bolide delivers a clever size and wheel system, ample and variable suspension travel and an independent rear triangle.

The pandemic is putting the bike industry under massive pressure, especially in terms of manufacturing (parts) companies and the subsequent logistics. With the trend of bringing production closer to the sales market, the boutique brand Ibis is making great strides in frame construction. The frame of the cross-country bike called Exie is manufactured 100 percent in the USA. Exciting insights into the brand new bike and its production can be found after the jump.

Ibis Cycles is celebrating a big birthday this year: The Californian cult brand has a whopping forty years under its belt. To celebrate this appropriately, Ibis is sending the Ripmo bike out on the trails in retro team colors, with matching clothing on top. You can see what it looks like in action after the jump.

Ibis is flying the flag for aluminum as a frame material. The latest result from this melting pot is the Ripley AF, which is naturally cheaper than its carbon fiber counterpart. In terms of riding characteristics, it should in no way have to hide from its more expensive sibling.

EWS pilot Robin Wallner shows what is possible on his Ibis Ripmo: jumping doubles, manuals, rocking the skate park. There's even a new term for it: Gravelduro.

Pat Smage is an eleven-time US motorcycle trial champion and has a weakness for mountain biking. In spring, however, a foot injury threw him off his rhythm, which he worked out again on the mountain bike and finally found "his mojo" again. The result is not modest, because what he pulls off with the Ibis Mojo V4 on his self-built playground is great cinema.

The Californian brand Ibis is relaunching its cult bike "Mojo". The Mojo V4 comes with 130 millimetres of suspension travel at the rear and 140 at the front and rolls playfully on small wheels. In addition to numerous new details such as laminated cable guides in the frame and a versatile geometry, Ibis offers a seven-year warranty on the carbon frame.

With the Ripmo, Ibis launched an extremely elegant enduro bike on 29-inch wheels just over a year ago. Now the Californians are launching its aluminum counterpart with elegant curves, adapted geometry and at interesting sales prices.

Ibis has teamed up with the rim specialists from NoTubes for the new S-Rims. The new carbon rims come in 27.5 and 29 inch, each with 28 and 35 millimeter rim widths and with NoTubes BS technology. The rims are presented in the highly amusing and exaggerated style of American infomercials. Get yours now!!!

The US bike brand Ibis presents the next generation of its classic trail bike "Ripley". The new frame of the twentyniner is now similar to its big brother "Ripmo", but now offers space for tires up to 2.6 inches wide as well as large brake discs and long-travel variable seat posts. It also has laminated cable tunnels for easier assembly.

The price tag as for an aluminum bike, the riding characteristics and weight as for a carbon hardtail. Ibis wants to reach a wide range of buyers with the new DV9 hardtail. At the same time as the new bike and its riding characteristics, there is also a new term: downcountry.

The cult manufacturer Ibis presents the offspring of the trail bike "Ripley" and the enduro racer "Mojo HD4". It's called Ripmo - Ibis' first enduro bike on 29-inch wheels. The bike with 145 millimetres of suspension travel is designed for tires up to 2.6 inches wide and seat posts with 175 millimetres of travel. The seat angle of 76 degrees and the frame weight of just under 2.8 kilograms are also remarkable.

Ibis can do more than just all-mountain or enduro à la Mojo and Ripley: with the brand new Hakka MX, the Californians are looking beyond the rim of their plate - and building a gravel bike that can at least compete with a hardtail when it comes to tires.

The question of material comes up anew every year at the Perskindol-Swiss-Epic. While it's the lightweight marathon bike for the big group, the choice of bike for the flow riders varies considerably: from thick enduro bikes to lightweight marathon bikes, everything is included. We reveal which bikes our bloggers Anita and Caro Gehrig rely on in the "Epic Bike Check".

Winking at the pork chop, Ibis has named the new accessory bag that makes itself at home in the Ripley and Mojo frames. The bag, which is not entirely vegetarian, at least on paper, seems to be quite practical.

The Ibis Mojo HD3 already had a very trendy geometry in fall 2014, but now the head angle is even slacker, the reach even longer and the chassis even stiffer. The results at the Enduro World Series show that this concept works.

Tires in 2.6 inch are currently doing the rounds: these are basically "plus minus" tires, i.e. trendy plus tires, but somewhat narrower and lighter than the trend-triggering 3 or 2.8 inch wide tires. Ibis is now responding to this "standard" - and more - with its new Ripley LS beast.

Is there anything more annoying than a product that gives up the ghost shortly after the statutory warranty period? Ibis definitely doesn't offer that kind of excitement: the Californian bike manufacturer extends the warranty to a whopping seven years.
