Mavic's accessories are smoother than the wheels

Talks are underway at Amer Sport, the owner of Mavic, to sell the French accessories specialist to Chinese investors. While the business with wheels is not satisfactory, the business with Mavic clothing is going very well. Looking at the French company's new shoe collection, it quickly becomes clear why this is going well.

Mavic has a large bike shoe portfolio in the starting blocks for the 2019 model year. For downhill use, there is the Deemax Pro Flat model, which is very durable thanks to its Kevlar material and should be cleaned quickly even after mud battles. For aggressive trail riding, the Deemax Elite Flat shoe is in the range, followed by the colorful XA Matryx, which is intended to cover the widest range of uses.

With the XA Elite II and the XA, there are also shoes that should cut a fine figure on the trail and also on the après-bike with their subtle colors. With the shoes from the Echappee Matryx, Echappee Trail Elite II and Echappee Trail series, Mavic also has a good range for women at the start.
