Jolanda Neff fährt ab 2015 für Stöckli
World class for the bike manufacturer from Wollhusen
With Jolanda Neff, Stöckli has signed up the best cross-country athlete currently available. The only 21-year-old athlete from Thal SG can already look back on an impressive palmares: Neff became world champion in the U23 category in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and won the overall cross-country World Cup in the elite category this year, notabene as the youngest overall World Cup winner of all time. Neff also won the World Cup races in Pietermaritzburg (RSA), Mont-Sainte-Anne (CAN) and Méribel (FRA) this year.
"A switch to Stöckli seems logical to me, as the material really impressed me. Stöckli also has a perfect infrastructure and unique support, which is why the team can race at the very front in the World Cup. It is also important for me that I can now ride for a successful traditional Swiss company with a lot of experience in top-class sport. I'm looking forward to the collaboration and the coming season," says Jolanda Neff, explaining the change. Neff previously competed for the Liv Pro XC Team.
Neff as a figurehead
Together with Mathias Flückiger, 6th overall in the 2014 World Cup, world-class athletes are now racing on Swiss-made bikes in both the men's and women's categories. "We are delighted about this commitment and warmly welcome Jolanda to the Stöckli family. As the world's best athlete, Jolanda is the figurehead for us and an important ambassador for the rapidly growing Stöckli bike brand," says Brand Manager Walter Reusser.
In the area of mass sports, Stöckli will also be competing next season with around 100 Stöckli team riders from the "Stöckli Racing Team" and will provide them with professional on-site support at the most important races.
Expansion nationally and internationallyWith the "Stöckli ProTeam" and the "Stöckli Racing Team", the Wolhusen-based bike manufacturer wants to create a basis for further national and international expansion and increase its brand presence.
From 2015, Stöckli will be active on the German market and its mountain bikes and pedelecs will also be available on the other side of the Rhine. This step is part of a corporate strategy to position the Stöckli brand more internationally and emphasize the importance of the summer business.
