Porezen
Description
The tour starts at Planinski dom Petrovo Brdo right by the saddle. The route climbs steadily uphill on asphalt past lost places and military buildings. From the agricultural building onwards, the trail becomes very challenging and steep and changes into a classic forest path before turning into a Vallo Alpino trail from the 1940s. This runs idyllically through beech forests and rides in this manner until Planinski dom na Poreznu, a former military building that has been converted into a mountain inn. From this point, it is only a few meters to the summit before you reach the peak of Porezen, the highest point of the tour (1632 meters above sea level). If visibility is good and the air is clear, the view extends as far south as the Mediterranean, with the Triglav National Park to the north and a view of the Karawanks - pure goosebumps.
The trail descent is also an absolute blast. In the upper section, the ascent track is used, which is between difficulty levels S1 and S2. It remains in this style and rides down to the starting point. In between, the trail also becomes very tricky, but is always easy to ride.
Note: This variant is relatively feasible for e-bikers who don't shy away from the push function and demonstrate some uphill trail skills.
