Grießkareck
Description
The start is in Flachau. From here, the official Grießkareck tour initially takes you on asphalt, later on gravel and further up to the Grießkareck, which is accessible by cable car from almost all sides. The tour is therefore more suitable in summer at off-peak times. At the highest point of the tour, just below the Grießkareck, the descent begins on natural trails with difficulty level S2. The route continues in this style down to the Flying Mozart. Fragments of the former bike park are still there, but are barely recognizable. At the Flying Mozart, you then take the official Flying Mozart loop, cross the forest and finally use the trail (S2) below the Red 8er II route. You then join the valley station of the Roter 8er II and cross to Weberlandl through the hamlets, where a few more trail cut-offs await. You then return to Flachau on forest paths, side roads and cycle paths.
Note: The route is located on Austrian territory and leads over routes that are not approved for mountain bikers. Riding this route on a mountain bike is the responsibility of each individual, in full awareness of the legal situation.
