Hubertuskapelle

The short loop from Altenmarkt im Pongau via the Sattelbauer and then back down some trail cutters offers a good trail yield with little effort.

Description

The tour starts in Altenmarkt im Pongau. From here, you take the official cycle route to the Winterbauer Gasthaus. On the official Sattelbauer-Runde Flachau, after the small uphill, you use the so-called Feuersangweg with an easy S1 descent. The official cycle route then continues and there is another ascent, this time on gravel to the Hubertuskapelle chapel and the Sattelbauer mountain inn. Here you can treat yourself to a break and enjoy the views. The route then descends in all-mountain style on difficulty level S2 along a fine natural path. Through the spruce forests, sometimes very idyllic and mostly on gravel, the route leads to Zauchenseestrasse and then back to Altenmarkt im Pongau.
