The Tobelbach tour rides from Pfäffikon through little-known regions in the Zurich Oberland on the border with the Töss Valley.

Description

The tour starts in Pfäffikon with an ascent on country roads to Gündisau, and from there up to the Schlossberg. A trail descent then takes us to Madetswil, from where we follow the Tobelbach stream to Rikon im Tösstal. At the first houses, however, you turn off again and climb up a small road to Neschwil and finally past Theiligerweier to Weisslingen. The return journey to Pfäffikon is on forest and country roads via Agasul and Rumlikon. Shortly before Russikon, you climb up to Furtbüel once again, after which the route takes you back to Russikon and on to Pfäffikon.

I travel there a lot and know the area very well. In my opinion, the tour unfortunately rides along the road far too often, although there are the most beautiful trails in the immediate vicinity. For example, from Pfäffikon through the ravine to Balchenstal and only then up to Wallikon. Or up to the left at "Schür" and over the Dunkelbach to Gündisau. This would make a wonderful tour.
