Alpe Muscera
Description
From the center of Lecco, climb up through the town to the road that rides to Ballabio. You can expect some traffic here, but you will leave it behind you on the road up to Piani Resinelli. The road winds up in many bends until you reach the top of the pass with the vacation village. At the top of the pass, turn right and climb a little further until you reach the culmination point above Alpe Mus'cera. Now turn left onto the singletrail, which is initially challenging to ride and features a few short climbs from time to time. However, as the length increases, the slightly downhill trail gets faster and faster. You really get going on the trail after passing a small gravel road. The path now rides quickly and smoothly to Cornisella, where the next singletrail section starts at the lower houses. This is a real fun ride and ends at a small concrete road, which you follow downhill to get back to Ballabio. The return trip to Lecco now does not take the ascent route, but instead follows the gravel road towards Passo del Lupo. Shortly before this, turn right and head down to Bonacina, a district of Lecco, on varied and sometimes challenging trails. Finally, you roll back to the starting point on the lakeshore on side roads.

We started out in Ballabio on our e-bikes. All the trails were in great condition—freshly groomed and easy to ride. We had a blast.
