Itonskopf - Bartholomäberg Singletrails
Description
The starting point of the tour is Schruns-Tschagguns at the entrance to the Montafon. You roll up the mountain to Bartholomäberg on asphalt roads, later switch to gravel, pass the Rellseck and finally climb the Alplegi crossing above Alpe Latons. Now you head down to the aforementioned alp in a wild and romantic mountain landscape high above the Klostertal valley. After a stop at the alp, the singletrail fun begins after a stretch of gravel road. On a wonderfully flowing but slightly ascending trail, you circle the Itonskopf and then head downhill below the Schwarzhorn across the southern slopes of Bartholomäberg. The route is fun and varied down to the village center and then on a gravel road down to the Gauensee monastery. Shortly before the monastery, you keep right and reach the valley floor again via a final trail section and thus the starting point. Conclusion: A wonderfully eventful circular tour with a high proportion of flowing single trails that are also fun for less experienced mountain bikers.
Note: The route is located on Austrian territory and leads over routes that are not approved for mountain bikers. Riding this route on a mountain bike is the responsibility of each individual, in full awareness of the legal situation.

Really cool ride. A long climb, followed by some great trails on the way down. They’re on the easier side and rideable even when wet.
