The coastal area around the idyllic harbor town of Senj is not only attractive because of its countless bathing bays and turquoise-blue water, but there are also countless trail variants in the vicinity of this area, such as the one from the classic "fire tower" directly to the sea.

Description

The all-mountain tour starts in Senj, a charming harbor town with typical Croatian flair. From here, the route rides along the serpentines on the southern slopes on asphalt until you reach the highest point of the tour at around 650 meters above sea level. The view of the island of Krk and the Mediterranean Sea from this point is impressive. A short detour to the fire tower offers additional views, but is optional and does not improve the trail.

After the viewpoint, a forest road or feeder road rides directly to the trail entrance behind Debeli brig. The trail descent is varied with a difficulty level between S1 and S3. You can expect hairpin bends, loose gravel and some thorn bushes. The trail rides directly down to Sibinj Krmpotski, a small seaside resort. It is important to note that the descent may not be ideal in July and August due to the extreme temperatures and thorny vegetation.

From the seaside resort, the route then rides on asphalt along the coast past a few bars and restaurants back to the starting point in Senj.
