Teufelsloch-Runde
Description
The tour starts in the center of Gruibingen. From there, you ascend northwards and circle the Kornberg. After this ascent, a first trail section with a decent serpentine descent awaits. The route then continues over a longer transfer section consisting of gravel roads and more trails to Eckwalden. The return journey begins here with an ascent to Boßler. Once at the top, follow the ridge that drops steeply to the right towards Weilheim an der Teck. The tour ends with a gravel road descent along the Winkelbach stream, which rides back to Gruibingen.
Note: The tour is located in Baden-Württemberg with the legal requirement of a two-meter rule. This tour contains elements that do not comply with this regulation. Rather, it reflects routes that are ridden by local mountain bikers. Compliance with the regulations is the responsibility of each individual mountain biker.

Overall impression 2 points can be found in the "Tour details" section above. And that's exactly how it is. You just shouldn't skip it. You cycle mainly on gravel forest roads. The few singletracks are quite passable, but far too few to score more than 2 points. I had expected (considerably) more from a ride tour by Thomas Giger, the Master himself after all. But maybe that's the maximum the area has to offer - there should be... Conclusion: A nice exercise tour, but nothing more.
You're right: the area doesn't offer much more. However, our aim is to be able to offer routes throughout the region. It's obvious that routes in the foothills of the Alps are not as attractive as those in Aosta, Graubünden, Valais or elsewhere. We also see these tours much more as a service for mountain bikers from the region in question.
