Follow the main road from Saas Grund for a few meters going downhill, but leave it to get to the base station of the cable car, then start the climb on a mountain road until you pass Triftalp. From there, follow an alpine track leading to the Kreuzboden middle station. To start the downhill, change to the singletrail leading down directly to Triftalp, then follow the mountain road that you've ascended on for a few uphill meters. Passing the Farwald, you'll get to a flowing trail with countless switchbacks that leads back to Saas Grund.
