Green-River-Trail (Nava)

The tour leads from Bardineto to the Bric Schenasso. The fast, flowing Green River Trail starts through a wild beech forest. It is characterized by fast, wide bends with offsets and some water crossings.

Description

From Bardineto, you start the tour in an easterly direction. After the football pitch, take a small tarred road that soon becomes a gravel road and rides slightly uphill towards Castelvecchio di Rocca Barbena. The rocky Rocca Barbena can always be seen on the left. After a few steep ramps, you reach the forest road to Bric Schenasso. Past the wind turbines, turn right at Bric Schenasso and keep left.

Past Casa Dondella, the Green River Trail begins on the right. You pick up a lot of speed in long bends, some of the bends are a little slippery and the surface is a little slippery in autumn with the leaves. Short steep steps provide the necessary variety. In the lower section, the trail runs alongside a stream, which you have to cross a few times. The trail ends on the gravel road of the ascent and you can either roll back to Bardineto or head back up to Bric Schenasso and tackle one of the other trails.
