The starting point for this tour is the town of Eppstein, which is easily accessible from Frankfurt am Main via Höchst on the city rapid transit line. The itinerary includes three striking descents in three different directions. The tour begins with the climb up gravel roads to the Judenkopf. There, the eastern descent begins—a first-class, smooth singletrack that local mountain bikers have passionately built themselves. In the lower section, the terrain becomes steeper and more technically demanding, with difficulty levels ranging up to S3. This brings you back to the center of Eppstein.

Shortly thereafter comes the second challenge: the descent from the Staufen. The path up initially follows a narrow asphalt road and soon switches to coarse gravel.
