Gorges de Daluis
Description
The start of this route is spectacular: You ride along the main road through the impressive Gorges de Daluis—a gorge that’s sure to amaze you with its red rock walls and uniquely designed road. Singletrack? None to speak of—but that’s not necessary either. This is about marveling at the scenery, not about tearing it up.
The road leads down to the turnoff for the mountain road to Daluis, which you follow all the way to the parking lot at Saint-Martin. On this paved climb, you’ll gain about 800 meters in elevation before turning onto a long, scenic high-altitude trail. This trail stretches impressively along the eastern flanks of Mont Saint-Honorat all the way to the remote hamlet of Les Selves. The trail is practically tailor-made for e-mountain bikes because it features a series of short, steep climbs that can be grueling without a motor. Those who focus exclusively on the downhill trail can also head directly from Guillaumes via Sauze to the downhill trail.
From Les Selves, the route heads north on a narrow singletrack, climbing gently until it reaches a small saddle—the starting point for the Supertrail down into the Val d’Entraunes. The descent is fast, playful, and varied. It’s a true S2 extravaganza with occasional S3 sections. Flow and riding fun take center stage. After the thrilling descent, you’ll reach Villeneuve-d’Entraunes and cruise leisurely along the mountain road for the final kilometers back to Guillaumes.

I rode the route on July 19, 2026 (once again)—it is and always will be a highlight. At this time of year, I recommend an e-mountain bike because the climb would otherwise be quite grueling in the blazing sun and hot temperatures. The trails are currently in great condition!
A wonderful tour with stunning, diverse, and beautiful scenery! Thank you.
