Monte Airolo

The tour first rides up Monte Airolo, where a very fast trail back to Nava awaits. Then you change sides of the valley and head up to the varied Cucu Trail.

Description

We start at the large Colle di Nava parking lot and ride north along the road. At the fork in the road, we keep right and ride up to Monte Ariolo. Shortly before the summit, we turn left onto a trail and are soon at the start of the Ex PS Trail. The upper part of the trail is really fast, followed by more bends and a few steeper sections in the middle and lower part. You're back in Nava in no time and ride onto the main road SP28 and roll a few meters until you turn left up the SP100. After just over three kilometers, turn right onto the forest road and continue uphill. At a left-hand bend, continue straight on and after a while the Cucu Trail branches off to the right. This trail first rides along the ridge until it drops steeply and has a few steep steps and bends in store. There are also a few jumps and you can really let it fly here too. This trail is great fun. At a clearing, continue to the right and pick up momentum again until you reach a cart track and ride back to Nava.

Background to Ride MTB
