Napf (Willsau)
Description
From Willisau, the route takes you past the Ostergauer Weiher pond, via Blochwil to Menznau and from there along the hill north of the main road to just before Wolhusen. Along the Wigger and later past Längebüelschür and Guetenegg to Menzberg. This is followed by the descent into Fontannetal, where the actual ascent to Napf begins. This follows the Grosseberg, where you finally reach the Oberänzi hill. The Napf is now in sight, but from the Stächelegg it is still a steep climb to the mountain hut on the summit. The descent then initially leads back to Stächelegg, but here you now follow the signposted mountain bike route 77 (Napf Bike) downhill to Gmeinalp. The route now rides along the ridge to Chanzelgrabe, leaving the official route for a while and avoiding the loop down to Hergiswil. The ridge ends directly at Willisau.

Ideal for gravel bikes. The route leads over field and forest paths or roads. For the description, please enter one under riding technique.......
I took a slightly different and adventurous route from Willisau up to the Napf. I rode over many dirt roads from Willisau into the Lutherntal and from Hofstätt mostly on dirt roads again up to Alp Ahorn (restaurant) and from there on the Crest Weg and partly singletrail (next to the mountain ridge) up to the Napf. The last ascent was very difficult and I usually had to push or carry the bike. I then rode down from Napf towards Wohlhusen and enjoyed the Alpine panorama. I recorded the tour on video and you can watch it on YouTube and even ride along on the home trainer. The link is: https://youtu.be/l4UeU75mq3k
Have fun and the tour is highly recommended for good mountain bikers
