Lueg (Burgdorf)

The Lueg sits enthroned at the northern end of the Emmental, and the tour from Burgdorf to the viewpoint offers beautiful singletrail sections in the middle of a postcard idyll.

Description

From Burgdorf, the route follows the Emme upstream to Hasle and on to Rüegsau. The route then climbs over the ridge via Reckenberg and Egg, before taking the Münneberg ridge trail to Flühlen, the first singletrail. You then climb up to Affoltern on country roads and from there on to Lueg. After the obligatory panoramic break, you return to Burgdorf. To do so, take the wonderful single trail to Heimismatt and then follow the ridge to Heimiswil. A final short climb has to be mastered before you reach Burgdorf from the east side.

Panorama top, singletrail part very small - for the tour you definitely don't need a fully, especially regarding the crisp climbs, at the end along the hiking trail through the forest instead of the road to Burgdorf...

Too bad you didn't include the trails from the local club. It would have been a mega cool tour. www.trailprotectors.ch
