Läber

The Emmental is considered one of Switzerland's cultural assets. The mountain bike route to Pfyffer between Langnau and Marbach takes you back to the times of Gotthelf.

Description

From Langnau, you initially follow the signposted route of the Mountain Bike Land (Route 77) to Schüpbach. The route now rides upstream along the young Emme, alternating between single trails, agricultural paths and country roads. After Eggiwil, the ascent to Pfyffer, which is just over 500 meters long, finally begins. Passing the Läber group of houses, you wind your way up through the Bärbachtal valley to the culmination point. Later, you maintain the altitude on a single trail up to Chäserenegg, then follow a mountain road to Hülli and then deep into the Chrümpelgrabe. Follow this downhill to Trubschachen and along the Iflis stream back to Langnau.

Tips:
The route can be ridden in both directions; instead of through Chrümpelgrabe, stay a little higher up and follow a trail via Bärgehüsi to Trubschachen
