Pikov vrh

Mountain Pikov vrh not only offers a varied northern descent, there is also an easy but scenic trail descent in the southern area of Črna na Koroškem near Mežica.

Description

The tour starts in Črna na Koroškem, a small village near the Austrian-Slovenian border. At the beginning, the route rides a few meters on asphalt and then on gravel through beech forests steadily uphill until you reach Koča na Pikovem. Here you turn right and can cycle a few more meters before you have to push your bike in the area of the summit (rideable in sections) to get to Pikov vrh. This is where the trail descent begins.

The entire descent trail down to the valley has a difficulty of S1 to S2 and offers a scenic route. Especially in the lush green of summer, you can complete a fast and unforgettable stage here. The trail ends very close to the starting point, with only a few more meters to cover along the Meža river.
