Stöcklichrüz

The Stöcklichrüz is an inconspicuous but beautiful mountain high above the upper part of Lake Zurich. The mountain bike tour to the summit is a varied and technically easy route.

Description

The tour starts in Siebnen and rides along an asphalt road to Vorderberg, past Pfiffegg and finally to Rinderweidhorn. Now it's downhill for the first time, you pass Gueteregg, and immediately after Müligassegg you branch off to the left onto the trail to Chörnlisegg. The St. Meinrad chapel is then quickly reached, and the route now descends to Schwändi on the old pilgrims' path. Lachen is reached on a mix of single trails and mountain roads via Bilsten and St. Johann. The return journey to Siebnen rides along the Wägitaler Aa stream.

Everything is still OK. The 360° panorama from Stöcklichrüz is impressive.
There are four 220V sockets by the small shed to the west of the Gueteregg restaurant.
