Hoch-Ybrig
Description
From Unteriberg, first follow the main road via Waag in the direction of Weglosen. At the hamlet of Boden, the tour rides up to Oberiberg, on to Fuederegg and finally up to Spirstock. The highest point is reached here and the long descent begins. This takes you to Ibergeregg and from there to the village of Oberiberg on an old goods road. The return journey to Unteriberg is on the main road due to a lack of alternatives.

I’d also recommend including the Spirstock in the tour. The trail to Ibergeregg was rerouted to bypass a nature reserve. It’s well-built and is probably the highlight of the tour in terms of trail quality. The singletrack section of the tour is a bit sparse.
I did the tour on July 2024.
It is not recommended to follow the GPS route in Waagtal in the direction of Weglosen, as you will immediately be insulted by the farmer in the worst possible way!
After a long search, there is an alternative access that leads back to the route from there, but I found that the path was no longer visible at Grossweid (near the stable). I had to break off the tour there. Maybe another time...
Done, 3.10.2021.
It is best to start the tour in the village of Oberiberg at "Neuseewen" P. 1087 and get to the specified track in a few minutes (which is closed according to the statement of 27.9.2021). From there everything on the original track, whereby it is worth tackling the summit of Spirstock 1770m at Laucherenchappelen 1708m.
The trail towards Ibergeregg can't really be described as beautiful - there are lots of sharp stones along the way, with repeated steep uphill sections. Just about rideable with an e-bike, but difficult without one. Unfortunately, the stage from Ibergeregg to Oberiberg is also more of a field and meadow path, with a few exceptions at the end, which is why the tour is more for cross-country riders and less for trail-loving enduro or fast enduro riders :-)
I wanted to ride this Hoch Ybrig tour today. After Waag near the hamlet of Boden, the tour came to an end. The farmer has put up numerous no trespassing and no driving signs on his farm. The ascent to Oberiberg is therefore not possible. The gate to be passed at Weiler Boden has a 3 meter large prohibition sign (explicitly prohibiting bikes). I have never seen anything like it in 35 years of biking and abandoned the tour.
My Hoch-Ybrig tour started in Rothenthurm, up towards the Nüsellstock and on the other side down into the Alptal where you have a great view of the Mythen. From Brunni I rode up via Müsliegg to Ibergeregg, where I had a good lunch in the restaurant. Then it was up to Sternenegg and Windegg and under the Spirstock to Nätschboden and down to Fuederegg and from there, with wonderful views of Druesberg and Forstberg, up to Roggenhütte and Roggenegg. Downhill to Tubenmoos I had to push the bike several times. Below the Adlerhorst ski lodge, I then reached Oberiberg and Einsiedeln on asphalt roads. It was a great tour with lots of different panoramas.
I recorded the tour on video and uploaded it to YouTube for you to watch. The link is:

We rode the tour yesterday. Beautiful and varied tour :)
However, you should stick to the "Adlerhorst" signposting in the first part after Oberiberg. The path is better and you don't have to ride a cowpat slalom and climb over countless pasture fences. Due to the weather, we had to shorten the tour and used the forest path on the Ibergeregg right at the end of the large parking lot, where the hiking trail to Mythen begins, which leads off to the right towards Oberiberg. Nice alternative and few hikers.
The Spirstock can be added directly... Makes the ascent even more challenging and gives the tour a summit destination!
