The Tognola Bike Park near San Martino di Castrozza is located opposite the impressive Pala Group. The Tognola cable car takes us onto the fast bike park route. After the warm-up lap, we take the lift up again and start the beautiful tour to Malga Valcigolera. We ride back to San Martino di Castrozza on natural trails.

Description

From San Martino di Castrozza, take the main road to the Tognola cable car. This takes you to the Tognola DH Uno bike park trail. It's a fast and partly blocked route for almost six kilometers through wide berms with a few jumps. You ride up the track a second time and set off on the tour to Malga Valigolera. This begins with a gravel road descent to Malga Tognola. Pass this and keep right along the forest road until the Cigolera Trail begins on the left. An impressive mountain landscape opens up here and the trail meanders gently uphill along the slope. This brings you to Malga Valcigolera, where you can take a break before continuing the steep ascent. The trail begins at the end of the ramp on the right. Continue up this trail until it runs along the ridge. Again and again you can see the impressive mountain massif of the Pala Group. However, the trail demands your full concentration, especially in the upper section. The further the trail rides into the forest, the more flowy it becomes and you can let go of the brakes a little. After a long descent, you finish the tour and return to San Martino.
