Truden Naturpark Runde
Description
Start the tour in Montan and ride to Mühlen, turn right here and after 200 meters turn left onto a forest road. Ride along this road to Truden. On the outskirts of Truden, turn right and ride past the sawmill into the ascent. Bend after bend, the route climbs and you can always catch a glimpse of the downhill trail ahead, which often crosses the forest road. Still in the forest, the trail starts on the right after not quite three kilometers. Those who love fast trails will get their money's worth here. You leave the brakes off and whizz down, the trail is really fun. Once you reach the bottom, ride into the village of Truden and turn left towards the Cisloner Alm. You have to climb a few steep ramps until you reach the Cisloner Alm. You should definitely stop off here. The food is delicious and the cakes are amazing. Refreshed, the route continues behind the mountain pasture onto the Mühlen Trail.
Take a left across the meadow and ride down into the forest, where the trail soon becomes steep and narrow. There are a few tight hairpin bends to negotiate here. The trail is exposed along the mountain and you should not fall here. The trail becomes easier in the lower part, but it remains traily and still has a few hairpin bends in store. At an avalanche barrier, turn left up the slope. Out of the forest you come to a cart track, which you follow steeply uphill until you reach the tarred road. Cycle along this road through mills and continue downhill until a trail branches off to the left. Ride along this until it becomes a road. You soon come to Glen and from here it is not far to Montan, the end of the tour.
