Wilder Mann – Montiggler See
Description
The route starts in the small village of Pfatten near Leifers, south of Bolzano. From here, you wind your way up a steep forest road to the Montiggl lakes. From here, the route follows a mix of secondary, main and feeder roads up to the viewing area of the Wilder Mann Bühel (643 meters above sea level). The last few meters of altitude have to be fought for, and the bike even has to be pushed a few more meters on the last few meters. Despite the low altitude, the mountain offers a rich all-round panorama and is perfect for getting to know the area and improving your orientation in the region south of Bolzano.
The descent begins at difficulty levels S2 to S3. After around 50 meters in altitude, you take the forest road heading north and then an S2 and S1 trail (with some feeder roads in sections) past the Marklhof farm to Sigmundskron Castle. The ascent of a different kind begins at Sigmundskron Castle. The route follows an old railroad line back to the Wilden Mann Bühel. Once there, you then take an S2 trail past the Montiggl lakes and then take the Pfattnersteig trail towards Mairhof. The last few meters are an absolute trail highlight before you finish the loop at the starting point in Pfatten. Conclusion: With a trail section of just under ten kilometers, the tour is an effective way to get to know the beautiful area of Lake Kaltern and the Kaltern Wine Road.

I can't quite understand the 4 points for riding technique. Rosszähne only gets 3 points and the individual sections are significantly more difficult than this trail.
