The epitome of an enduro trail is the Agrifoglio: it offers everything an experienced mountain biker expects from a trail. It gets down to business here, the hairpin bends and steep, blocked passages in the rustic undergrowth of Molini di Triora are not for the faint-hearted.

Description

There are two ways to tackle the tour. Either you book a shuttle tour with Rivierabike, or you pedal the eleven kilometers up to the start of the Agrifoglio Trail. It gets off to a steep start. The trees come very close, fast bends and lots of steps challenge you. The handlebars should not be too wide. Be careful, two trails branch off to the left at the very beginning, so stay on the path to the right. After a while, you come out of the forest and descend a very steep slope, after which the forest awaits with steep, technical hairpin bends. The middle section is rather slow and technical. In the lower section, it becomes flowy and fast with wonderful natural berms. Conclusion: The Agrifoglio Trail is a dream. The level of difficulty is S3 throughout with some S4 passages. The trail is one of the best that the Argentiera Valley has to offer.

Background to Ride MTB
