We rode the trail today. I can only confirm the last comment—it’s a great ride with amazing views. Both trails are really beautiful. The upper one is very narrow and exposed in places, but it’s rideable almost all the way through. There are a few tricky spots, one of which most people will have to push through. The second trail is sensationally smooth and feels like it goes on forever—you can really let it rip over long stretches. A truly great tour.

Tour on 13.10.23 with my Specialized Enduro. Start from Le Champs Fleuris campsite in Duingt. The first climb is very tough without an e-bike. Especially the last 200 meters before the first intermediate destination Plan Montmin. Perhaps it was also because a tough, older cyclist caught up with me on this first climb and tried to hang on. So I was forced to shift up a gear so that I could enjoy the peace and quiet and listen to my high heart rate. After that, the route to the Col de l'Aulp was actually unspectacular. The view of the mountains made the now somewhat arduous ascent more bearable. The first descent was a narrow footpath in the shade. Once at the bottom, I continued uphill for around two kilometers on the tarred road to Col La Forclaz. Unfortunately, I was no longer able to keep up with a man overtaking me. The hamburger in the restaurant on the left above the top of the pass was very tasty. After that, the descent went quickly. Here it is important not to fall over to the right, as you would then have to scramble a few meters back up onto the trail, if you can still do so. This trail is very fun and can be ridden very fast in places. It would actually be worth cycling up to Forclaz on the pass road, overtaking a few Gümmeler and then taking the trail. Have fun on the tour!
