The tour begins in the coastal town of Santa Susanna and, after a short section on asphalt, leads along gravel roads with a pleasant incline up to the Horsavinyà church (510 meters above sea level). A more exciting and adventurous option is to continue the ascent for another 50 meters, pushing your bike along the last few meters of the trail until you reach the ridge. Here, a narrow, charming border path begins, where you have to maneuver skillfully between the trees with wide handlebars. This path eventually leads down to the trail that starts directly at the church. The trail is fun, but has a few "flow brakes" and leads to a small group of houses. A combination of gravel roads and single trails eventually leads to the valley floor, where the second climb of the day begins. The climb is on a gravel road to Collet de Sant Andreu and on to the ridge. From up there, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Mediterranean Sea and the southern Costa Brava.
