Liestaler Flue-Tour

Liestal lies at the foot of the Roti, Sissacher and Rickenbacherflue. These can be combined to create an excellent, technically undemanding mountain bike tour with a fantastic panorama.

Description

The tour can be started in Liestal or Sissach. In the latter, the ascent to Rickenbacherflue begins on the gravel road. You pass Kienberg and reach the ridge path of the Rickenbacher Flue from the west side. Follow the ridge path to Sissacherflue and then roll down to the small pass at Oberhinteregg. Now follow the ridge up and down past the Grimstelucke to the Roti Flue directly above Liestal. Stay on the ridge path and turn left a little above Weideli towards Liestal. From here, you return to Sissach on local roads and cycle paths.
