Monte Pezza – Strada de le musse (Sentiero 1032)

Monte Pezza (Sentiero 1032, Strada delle Musse)

The mountain ridges between Col Visentin and La Cisa offer countless trail descents that are an absolute joy to ride, especially in fall and spring. One special descent is the one from Monte Pezza.

Description

The route starts in the small village of Revine near the village of Longhere. From here, the route climbs up a panoramic road on asphalt to the Forcella Zoppei saddle (1417 meters above sea level). Only occasionally is this interrupted by a short, steep gravel section. From the saddle, you push your bike from Monte Agnellezze to Monte Pezza (1468 meters above sea level). Even at this point of the tour, you realize that there are fabulous views along the overgrown ridge. Especially in dry air and low temperatures, the view of the sea is guaranteed.

The descent then begins from Monte Pezza. At difficulty level S1, in places S2, the descent takes half an eternity to the Sella di Pian de le Femene saddle (1125 meters above sea level). Then take the Sentiero 1032 Strada de le musse. This runs on difficulty levels S2 to S3 in the form of a historic path back to the starting point. Hairpin bends, rock gardens and a few other key sections have to be mastered here before completing the loop.
